SUCCESS!!!…Helping Vets with Pain Last Weekend at the “2015 Chicago Stand-Down”
What a GREAT and POWERFUL Weekend!!!…..
Last weekend on Friday and Saturday at the South-side Armory in Chicago, SaTerra Vishnu, DOM and Frank Yurasek, PhD were in attendance to provide Auricular Acupuncture Treatment for PAIN, to the over 500 veterans who made their way to South-side Armory to get support services from community service organizations and those committed to providing our veteran population with the care they are due for their service to our country!
The two day event offered those veterans who participated, new insights on how they can find non-toxic pain relief (esp. for chronic neck, knees, low back and sleep issues), associated with their service, and how this simple and effective treatment can be learned and integrated, BY EACH AND EVERY VETERAN, for themselves and their families!!
A BIG THANK YOU!! :-))) Goes out to: The “Jim’s” and “Gabi” for all the support and effort brought forth to make this event SUCH A SUCCESS!!

Powerful Photos Depict Veterans Who Use Art Therapy To Heal
This photo series originally appeared in the February issue of National Geographic magazine.
Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan often return home with wounds that can’t be seen on the surface: brain injuries resulting from the shockwaves that follow explosions.
Some veterans, including service members at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, have attempted to cope with the challenges they face through art therapy.
Below, take a look at images captured by National Geographic photographer Lynn Johnson of these veterans and their loved ones:

Getting The Right Care Now…
Most veterans out in the daily world are confronted with two very common and pervasive issues.
One, to get supportive and consistent care for their issues in a timely and effective manner.
Secondly, see a difference which enhances the quality of their lives and the lives of those whom they love.
The challenge confronting EVERY VETERAN comes from the “unidirectionality of care” which the VA offers our veterans. This “pharmacy-based model” unfortunately is not a viable choice anymore….especially in the care currently being given to those afflicted with PTSD.
THE PROOF for the effective resolution of PTSD comes from the value of ACUPUNCTURE. This time-honored therapy offers researched and published verification, of associated pain related to the re-occurrence and severity of PTSD.
Please see the following article, related graph and references about the Veterans Choice Card, for expanded information related to what is going on in the field of ACUPUNCTURE for veterans with PTSD.
